Preparation & Cooking Time:

– Total Time: 30 minutes
Method:
1. In a large bowl, combine the beef mince, red onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly combined.
2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, about 2cm thick.
3. Heat a grill pan or barbecue on medium-high heat. Place the burger patties onto the hot surface and cook for approximately 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your liking.
4. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking, allowing it to melt slightly.
5. While the burgers are cooking, preheat your oven to 220°C (200°C for fan ovens).
6. Prepare gluten-free buns by slicing them in half and placing them in the oven for 5 minutes to lightly toast.
7. Once the buns are toasted, remove them from the oven and spread gluten-free mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun.
8. Assemble your burger with a lettuce leaf, tomato slice, pickle(s), and any other desired optional ingredients.
9. Place the cooked patty on top and finish by adding the top half of the bun.
10. Serve your gluten-free beast burger with a side of homemade gluten-free chips (fries) and enjoy!
